Korea Replica Miniature Medal

This medal is a reproduction mini Korea Medal. 

The Korea war began in 1950, when troops from Communist-ruled North Korea invaded South Korea. The UN demanded that the Communists withdraw from South Korea. 16 UN countries sent troops to help the South Koreans, and 41 countries sent other supplies. The Korean War ended in 1953, when the UN and North Korea signed an armistice agreement.

The medal is 18mm wide, made from lead-free pewter and is silver plated.

The card has a full-colour painting of attacking infantry being given artillery support during a battle on the front and historical information on the back.
