Military Cross Replica Miniature Medal

This medal is a reproduction mini Military Cross.

The MC is always issued unnamed, although since about 1938, the reverse of the cross or bar is officially dated with the year of issue. Although this award was originally awarded to captains, lieutenants and warrant officers of the Army (including RFC), it is now available to both officers and other ranks.

The medal is 17mm wide, made from lead-free pewter and is silver plated.

The card has a colour painting of an FE 2b being shot down during the Battle of Arras, 1917 on the front and historical information on the back.
