South Atlantic Medal

Awarded to personnel who took part in operations in the South Atlantic for the liberation of South Georgia and the Falkland Islands following the Argentinian invasion.

Obverse - Crowned profile of Elizabeth II. Reverse - Laurel wreath below the arms of the Falkland Islands.

This reproduction South Atlantic medal is made from lead-free pewter. It is supplied on a green, white and blue ribbon attached to a card with an image of a British Harrier jet bombing Port Stanley Airfield on the front and historical information on the reverse.
