British Gurkha Falklands 1982

In 1982, a tiny group of islands in the South Atlantic was thrust into the global spotlight. After the Falkland Islands were invaded by Argentina on 2 April 1982, the British government committed itself to their re-capture and liberation. A large Task Force was sent south, among whom were the Gurkhas of 7th Gurkha Rifles, part of 5 Infantry Brigade. Their primary action too place at Mount William, part of the British drive for victory.
